The purpose of the Delta program is to fund organizations located in eight Delta states (Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee) to address unmet local health care needs and prevalent health disparities through the development of new and innovative projects in Delta communities. Funding is provided by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Our goal at GrowWell is to better the quality of life for West Tennesseans through better disease management and prevention. We provide health education and health resources to 20 counties in rural West Tennessee.
GrowWell is partnered with local medical facilities and school systems to provide free programs on diabetes, heart disease, stroke and obesity-related conditions, as well as behavioral and mental health services.
The programs provided by GrowWell have been running since 2005. Throughout the past years, we have established more partners to come alongside us to better serve our community.
